Teeoh helps parents reply to things their teenagers say. Families say private things, so Teeoh collects as little as it can and keeps nothing it doesn't need.

What happens when you use Teeoh

Check-ins and feedback

If you turn on check-ins, Teeoh sends one notification a couple of hours after a reply asking how it went. The notification never shows what was said. Your answer is saved on your phone.

When you rate a reply, Teeoh's server receives the rating, the tone you chose and, if you set one, your teen's age bracket. It only receives what your teen said, the reply and your note if you turn on "Share this exchange to help improve Teeoh", which is off unless you switch it on. Shared feedback isn't linked to your name, Apple ID or contact details, and it's used only to make Teeoh's replies better.

What Teeoh's server keeps

Unless you choose to share an exchange with your feedback, Teeoh's server does not store what you type or say, and it does not store the replies. To prevent abuse, it keeps a daily count of requests for each install, linked to a random ID the app creates. That ID isn't connected to your name, email, Apple ID or contacts, and the counts are deleted after two days.

What Teeoh doesn't do

Who Teeoh is for

Teeoh is made for parents and guardians, not for children or teenagers to use themselves.

A tip

You don't need to include names or personal details to get a good reply. "My son said everyone else is allowed to" works just as well as using his name.
